Pro Ballers and Homegrown Celebrities To Take Center Stage At The 3rd Annual Dallas Hoops4Healing Ch
You are personally invited to join The Heads Up! Foundation, Celebrity Friends and Community Partners this Saturday for a day of Community Outreach and Basketball Showcase Games followed by our Annual Celebrity All-Star Game featuring local & national celebrities, pro athletes, entertainers, and community leaders! We are coming together to benefit The Heads Up! Foundation and the DFW families and communities we've served for over 15 years. For the last two years, the Hoops4Healing initiative has been successful in bridging community gaps by bringing DFW citizens together through basketball and awareness. Homegrown celebrities and brand influencers come from far and wide to take part in this impactful outreach effort. The Hoops4Healing Movement reached over 20,000 people in its inaugural year and we exceeded 100,000 in 2017! Our focus for 2018 is raising awareness of mental health issues in our youth and teen suicide and homicide prevention. Affectionately, we will honor the lives of those we’ve lost as well as those who are still with us in their struggles. Relative community and health Vendors will be on-site as well. This incredible day will also feature a mass Voter Registration Movement to educate and encourage engagement in our civic duty and right. Event proceeds to benefit the mission of the Foundation and its sports, life skills, media, and mentoring program expansion to youth and families across 12 Metroplex School Districts spanning 5 Counties. As a community partner and advocate for outreach and improvement, we are looking forward to having your support of this unique experience. We are asking all participants and supporters to give a minimum donation of $25 to assist the Foundation in its outreach efforts.
