Day 1 Standouts/Top Performers




Jayden Miller | Senior | South Oak Cliff

The senior guard is having a dominant tournament showing so far, averaging nearly 20ppg 4apg including 20pts in the win over Crowley and 18pts in the win over Panther Creek. Elite floor general with elite quickness and playmaking ability. Hard to find another player in the tournament that is impacting winning more than Miller, who is now affectionately known as "The Cheat Code"


Devion Wilson  | Junior | South Oak Cliff

Averaging 17ppg during tournament play including a team-high 23pts in the win over Crowley and 11 pts in win over PantherCreek. Tough, confident guard that showcased the ability to create his own shot as well as make his teammates better.

 

Mario Wooden

The Junior is averaging 15ppg during tournament play including 19pts🆚️Woodrow Wilson & 11pts🆚️South Oak Cliff.

The 6'5 wing showcased high level athleticism and two-way versatility.

 

 

Jerrell Barron Jr |Senior | Atascocita

The Brown commit leads the way for a good Atascocita squad. Averaging double figures during tournament play and showcase good IQ and feel for the game.

 

Christian Thomas | Junior | CE King

The 6'7 Junior showcased versatililty and competitiveness, proving to be a matchup nightmare for opponents during tournament play. Scored double-figures in each game and rebounded at a high level.


 

Barok Jones | Junior | SOC

The junior center showcased his ability to be an elite rim protector for the Golden Bears. Jones is the defensive anchor for South Oak Cliff, averaging 3blocks per contest and during tournament play and the number of shot attempts he impacts per contest is off the charts. Promising young post player with huge upside.

 

Travion Hall | Junior | Seagoville

Avg 27ppg to lead the way for the Dragons during tournament play, scoring game-high 27pts in both wins over ESD & Samuell


 

Sabien McGraw | Junior | Panther Creek

Scored a Team-high 15pts in the loss to SOC. The Junior Guard showcased some elite shotmaking ability from the perimeter


 

Avion Jackson | Senior | Atascocita

Solid two-way player that showcased some high level athleticism and competitive spirit. Averaging double figures in scoring during tournament play and could prove to be the X-factor on the Eagles Championship run.


 

J'Mar Franklin | Senior | CE King

The senior floor general ran the show for CE King, notching double figures in scoring along with some solid playmaking for his teammates. Avg 15ppg 4apg during Tournament play.

Rylo Austin | Freshman | Arl Sam Houston

The Freshman PG is proving to be one of the best diaper dandies in the tournament. Austin is leading the Texans in scoring and assists including scoring a team-high 14pts vs Atascocita
