The HeadsUp Metroplex High School Showcase

The #3 Bishop Lynch Friars traveled to Oak Cliff on Friday for a playoff warmup game with #2 Faith Family Academy Eagles. FFA pulled out the win 61-49 in an intense, hard fought battle between two well coached teams. FFA Freshman F Trae Clayton scored a game-high 26pts to earn Showcase MVP honors. Bishop Lynch was without leading scorer Jake Milkereit who was out with the flu but backcourt mate Zach Muller was dominant in his absence, notching a double-double with 23pts 11rebs. Soph Guard Imo Essien had 11pts 4ast Great tune-up for both programs as they head into the playoffs next week. Thanks to all of the fans who came out to support our annual playoff warmup Showcase.
