Today we are hitting the road headed to the 13th Annual Elite 14 High School Basketball Showcase in Wichita Falls, Texas. Over the years, The Elite 14 Basketball Showcase has become the centerpiece of the nation’s best collection of high school teams and talent during the NCAA November evaluation period.

This prestigious high school season kickoff event will feature many top prospects as well as some diamonds in the rough from many DFW area schools. Metroplex teams participating in this year's Showcase event include Denton Guyer, Mansfield Timberview, Midlothian, Lancaster, North Crowley, Little Elm, Justin Northwest, The Colony, Richardson Pearce, Arlington Grace Prep and Plano Prestonwood. Booker T. Washington moved down to Class 5A in Oklahoma during the offseason. The move puts the Hornets on top of the Class heading into the season. The Hornets got started scrimmage season against Muskogee on Wednesday. This weekend the Hornets will get several tests at the Elite 14 Showcase in Wichita Falls, Texas.
