Southwest Regional Showcase Camp All-Stars

The Southwest Regional Showcase Camp took place Oct 15-16 at the Duncanville Fieldhouse in Duncanville, Texas. The two-day event brought out over 110 high school basketball players from across the state to participate in this highly regarded grassroots event hosted by Snoop Johnson, Stacy Houston, and Alan Branch. Highly organized and educational for both the players and the parents. Many saw their college recruitment stock rise as a result of this weekend's showcase event.

6'10 Big man Tyreek Smith is one of the best rim protectors in Texas. Uses his length and athleticism well to block or change opponents shot attempts.

Top 5 2019 Prospect.

5'9 PG Bryce Cook of South Grand Prairie HS was one of the most impressive guards in attendance. The Tulsa commit showcased his playmaking ability as well as his ability to take over a game in the clutch. Competes hard on both ends of the floor and makes his teammates better.

DFW 2019 sleeper recruit Cobe Williams is a name college coaches are getting to know. Competes on both ends and scores at all 3 levels.

Desoto's Duncan Powell '21 is emerging as one of the top Freshmen in the region. The 6'6 Forward competed hard on both ends and had some big time finishes at the rim. Intriguing young prospect.

Duncanville 2018 PG Cam Massey was impressive at the Southwest Regional Showcase Camp. The 4-year Varsity player is a solid 2 way guard that defends at a high level.

6'10 Center Nigel Johns was a major force in the paint throughout camp. Solid footwork and soft hands allowed him to finish strong at the rim on a consistent basis. Intriguing home school prospect.
